How to Enroll

New Student Enrollment for 2025-2026

Welcome to Lee Montessori Public Charter School! We are so excited that you've chosen our school for your child’s development and we are looking forward to meeting your family in person. Our enrollment process can be completed remotely. We are here and available to assist your family with the enrollment process every step of the way. Please read our Lee Montessori Enrollment Guide to learn the steps you must complete to enroll your child.

Step 1: Submit Your Enrollment Documents in PowerSchool

If you are a new family, click here to enter your information into our pre-registration portal. Once your information has been confirmed, you will receive an email from PowerSchool with instructions on creating a parent account and adding your child.

If you are a returning family, click here to go straight to PowerSchool and log in with your credentials from last year. See Page 5 of the enrollment guide for help on troubleshooting login problems. Remember! All families, regardless whether this is your first year or ninth year at Lee, MUST submit D.C. Residency Verification paperwork. A list of valid proofs of residency can be found in the Enrollment Guide (link above) or on OSSE’s Residency Verification website. If you anticipate any challenges with this requirement, please reach out at admissions@leemontessori.org.

Valid Residency Proofs include: Paystub dated within 45 days, unexpired Driver’s License, unexpired motor vehicle registration, lease with proof of rent payment, or two (2) consecutive utility bills with proof of payment.

Families may also sign up for direct verification through the Office of Tax and Revenue. Click here to complete the OTR verification process. This will remove the need to submit residency proofs, although you will still need to complete a D.C. Residency Verification (DCRV) form.

Step 2: Receive email confirmation of submitted documents

You will receive a confirmation from one of our team members once all your documents have been reviewed and accepted. Once you receive this confirmation, you are all done! If you have any questions please email us at admissions@leemontessori.org or contact by phone (202-779-9740) for assistance.

Optional: Sign Up & Attend Your School Tour

This is your time to meet members of the Lee Montessori team and learn more about your child's new school. If you have received a Matched offer or Waitlist offer, the link to sign up for an Orientation Session will be emailed to you directly. If you did not receive it, please contact us at admissions@leemontessori.org.

Immunization Requirements

All students are required to be up-to-date on their vaccination schedule, as provided by D.C. Health, in order to attend public school in the District of Columbia. Below are several resources to support families in getting their children vaccinated in time for school. All health forms must be submitted before the students’ first day of school!
